- exit 47 «Bellinzona Sud»
- then drive approx. 9 km in direction of Locarno
- approx. 700 m after crossing the Ticino river, turn left at the sign «Forze aeree»
- drive straight ahead for approx. 600 m
- on the left hand side you will see the entry to the «Base aerea»
from direction of Locarno
- from Locarno drive in direction of Bellinzona
- at the roundabout at the end of the 4-lane expressway take the first exit to the right
- approx. 400 m after the roundabout turn right at the sign «Forze aeree»
- drive straight ahead for approx. 600 m
- on the left hand side you will see the entry to the «Base aerea»
