Unmanned aerial vehicle operator

Candidates for a function as professionals or military UAV operators are psychologically and medically examined at the AMI, and their aptitude is assessed.

Professionals and militia UAV operators have to pass an annual aptitude test at the AMI. If they hold a private pilot's licence (Class 1 or 2 according to JAR-FCL 3), the validity of their medical fitness certificate can also be extended on the basis of this examination.
