The Aeromedical Institute carries out the psychological aptitude test (PEP) with candidates for the General Staff course. Performance, intelligence and personalities of candidates are tested according to scientific methods with the latest techniques. The PEP test is a prerequisite for admission to the General Staff course.
The General Staff officer does not work alone. He achieves his greatest performance by leading a team of experts to a joint result. A sense for unconventional issues, independence of checklists, but also resilience against setbacks and the determination to succeed characterise him as member of an elite.
