As centre of competence for human factors relating to aviation and transport, the Aeromedical Institute / Aeromedical Centre deals with all kinds of aeromedical and flight psychological issues from both a scientific and a practical angle.

The Institute possesses an altitude simulator (low pressure) chamber and offers the following services:

• Course on hypobaric hypoxia (demonstration of oxygen deficiency) and explosive decompression
• Instrument testing in hypobaric environment
