Passenger flight in a jet - fasten your seat belts

Who hasn’t at some stage dreamed of taking a seat in the cockpit of a jet, a ‘jet fighter’, as they are colloquially named and lifting off into the blue sky?

It is, unfortunately, impossible to fly as a civilian passenger in our air force with currently operational jets. But you can nevertheless fly as a passenger in a two-seater jet aircraft. For such an adventure you can fly in decommissioned aircraft of the Swiss Air Force that are serviced and maintained at great expenditure by museums and associations. These machines are technically in perfect condition and are usually flown by our former air force pilots.

Here a few of the most important options. No guarantee can be given for the correctness of this information. Please find further links to similar offers on the web pages indicated.

Mikojan-Gurewitsch MiG-29 Fulcrum and
Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros

MiGFlug is a specialised Swiss enterprise that has been organising passenger flights with a variety of combat jets since 2004. After the end of the Concorde era and the termination of the English Electric Lightning flights in South Africa, MiGFlug with its combat jet flight in the MiG-29 Fulcrum provides the final opportunity for supersonic flight. Furthermore, the MiG advances unto the stratosphere, which is also unique. MiGFlug also offers a wide range of L-39 flights in Europe and the USA starting at CHF 2,150 for 30 minutes. MiGFlug options also include zero gravity flights from various locations.

Until 2006, MiGFlug was able to offer flights in the Su-27 Flanker, the MiG-25 Foxbat and the MiG-31 Foxhound. As the Russian economy has recovered since, numerous flights were terminated.
